How can we improve GoDaddy Pro?

  1. Trying to invite myself as a client

    I tried to invite myself as a client using my 3 letter account. I received the invitation email and the confirmation email after I accepted. The client account is listed as Access Requested. I am unable to get beyond that point.

  3. Transferring ownership of Domains and Hosting to someone else

    You should use this forum/platform to also be able to actually transfer ownership of Domains/ Hosting without having to re-create everything. This is very confusing.

  4. Auto-reminder for open shopping carts

    We have a good deal of clients who forget to complete checkout. We send them email reminders and then have to resend the email from GoDaddy. It would be great if the system would auto remind them until we changed or updated the cart so we didn't have to continuously follow-up with reminders and then send the email ourselves again.

  5. Manage WP should be able to update plugins that are required for cetain themes

    Right now ManageWP updates the themes, but if there are required plugins that are needed to be updated after the theme is updated, ManageWP doesn't recognize that. Then I'm still forced to go into each site individually and update the required plugins.

  6. GoDaddy Pro client screen suggestions

    I like the direction with client management but I have a few Ideas for improvement, Tighter integration with ManageWP (sync clients, sites, uptime monitoring, client reports?...other tools from ManageWP). Choosing what type of client this client will be when you add a new client to declutter the client pages/screens (3 options: Client has their own GoDaddy account, I will manage all Purchases, Mixed/hybrid). Folders to further organize clients. Seeing my own account as a "Client"...If I am going to use this area then I better be able to use it for my own organization/management

  7. Re-Occurring Monthly Billing

    It would be great to have something so that you could set up a
    re-occurring billing to charge clients for monthly site maintenance.

    Maybe under a product you send to them? or a separate section altogether Instead of having to use a 3rd party service.

  10. Manage domains in your own account in GoDaddy Pro

    You should be able to manage domains in your own account in GoDaddy Pro.

    I'm most likely not alone in having domains for clients in my personal account.

    I should be able to manage these domains and products in the same way as 'authenticated' managed clients.

    You are able to create 'clients', for clients who don't have their own account; but you can't add products on your own account to those clients.

    It seems very shortsighted to think that you can't have clients who don't have their own accounts.

    It seems backward to not be able to manage the domains…

    Hi there, thanks for the feedback. We’re planning to add the ability to add renewals thru GoDaddy Pro in the near future.

    Are there specific things you’d like to see included?

  12. Updating plugins, etc for all in 1 place.

    I would be nice to have 1 place to update WP plugins and other updates. I use WPRemote, and that's up for sale too I think. GoDaddy Pro should definitely have something where we can update sites from 1 place vs logging into each other to do so.

  13. More Client Cart Features

    I'd like to see a way to add coupons for clients. As well as ability to add more products to the clients cart, such as SEO.

    Are there other products you’re hoping to add besides the SEO product?

  14. Transferring Domains on behalf of the Clients

    Transfer domain names from other providers to GoDaddy on behalf of the client. Some clients don't have the time or the understanding to go though that hassle. This tool/interface would be about making everyone's life easier.

    This would certainly make our and our clients lives a little more simpler.

    Let me know if youre already implementing this.

  15. Payment Management

    The brief synopsis of the Pro features mentioned being able to bill clients using payment methods setup on either my account or on my clients account, or just being able to send the shopping cart to them directly to purchase.

    Well, I can't seem to find out how to do anything except pay for the cart contents using the clients' payment method. But lets assume this works for a moment and I do in fact see my configured payment methods in addition to my client's.

    Hi David. Thanks for the feedback. Definitely hear your feedback about wanting to see which payment method you are using (or even add or select a different). Our team is actively looking at improving this experience.

    The manage button for a client goes right to the WP dashboard, but if you have a staging site, that is very inconvenient!

  17. Collaborate with Other Developers

    Add the ability to add multiple developers to a Pro account but only allow access to specific clients. It makes collaboration much easier.

  18. Notification list of soon-expiring products

    Similar to the page that shows monitoring details per site (uptime, response time, etc.), I'd love to have a page showing me clients who have products expiring in the next xx months (whatever number would be reasonable for xx).

    One of the most common reasons I see for sites to be down is that someone did not pay their hosting or domain registration bills. If I could see a list tipping me off to items that will soon expire for clients (without having to log into their account), I could send them a reminder.

    A fabulous enhancement would also be…

  19. It would be nice to be able to delete a client, in addition to archiving.

    I mistakenly enter the client twice, and when I tried to delete one of them, I found out that there was not an option to do that.

  20. Add a staging area for wp and wsb

    Having the Ability to setup demo sites with WordPress and Website Builder would be nice, if the client commits to it then we can purchase the appropriate package and stick the site on it, if they don't like it we did not have to purchase a service and have to cancel it and buy something else, we are only out our time, put a 2 week shelf on the temporary url life on it so it cannot be taken advantage of to host a site full time
