    Hello,
Thanks for reaching out. We are looking into ways to disable auto updates for customer who prefer to wait. We appreciate your feedback.
    Best,
    Tara

  2. On the My Account / Wordpress page, under Performance, is a Backup area.

Place a button here that will instantly backup the files and database. You could had a button for each and one for both to be backed-up.

Thanks, Richard. We are updating this this month. You can also access the backups area in the green header that says “backup” where you can view and manage all of your backs.

  3. Temporarily disable Cache during development

During development, cache causes a lot of headache, making one unsure whether there is something wrong with new changes or whether the cache has just not kicked the bucket yet. It would be helpful to have a button to disable cache temporarily. You could make it auto-resume in a day to prevent accidental non-caching of running sites.

    Hello Hannah,
Quick update. This is on the backlog to be completed early next year. I don’t have an exact date to share with you yet, but the team is able to do this, and plans to get it done as soon as possible. Thanks for the suggestion!
    Best,
    Tara

    Hello Hannah,
Thanks so much for this suggestion. I am going to chat with the development team and see what we can do to make this happen. Will update you on our thoughts shortly.
    Thanks!
    Tara

  4. Redundant Screen?

When I get to my gateway, I start on this screen: https://cl.ly/1L2c3G0E2Y0r (which is a list of all my sites), then when I click on "Manage" on one of the sites, I amm taken to this screen: https://cl.ly/0Q1e04051v1G (which is also a list of my sites).

    Seems redundant?

    Hello,
Thanks for reaching out. Yes, these screens are redundant. We are in the midst of a transition time, so we have both views available. Once we are through the transition, we will only have one view. In addition, we are working with the My Account team to be able to link directly into your Site View of each product from the My Account section, which would skip both of these screens in many cases, and make the workflow more streamlined.
Hopefully this helps improve the experience for you.
Thanks again for the great feedback.
    Best,
    Tara

  5. Split the Mwp dashboard by the plan

So instead of people who have 2 pro mwps loading up 50 sites they get a page where they choose between the plans and then go into that group of plans.

This would be the quickest fix for our currently loading issue with the dashboard screen.

    Hello,
Thanks so much for the recommendation. We are planning to link directly into the specific site you are interested in using directly from My Account. Hopefully this will help cut out the loading step for you. We are working on this starting soon, and will hopefully have it updated in the near future.
    Thanks!
    Tara

  6. Get rid of the Updates page that comes up after I log in

I'm sick of having to wait so long to get access to edit my website because you want to add a new page to the log-in process. I do not have access to high speed internet where I live in WV, so this new (extra) page to negotiate is a pain.

Hello, Thank you for the suggestion. We are currently working on removing the intro step from the process. You should skip this page in the future once we get the MYA accounts selection to link directly to the site view of the new dashboard. Thanks again for letting us know.

  7. Change it back to the previous way we entered the website or streamline it so that it would be even easier than it was.

It is extremely annoying to have to go through the extra step of a preliminary screen before entering the website to edit it (there were enough places to click and enough lag time waiting for it to load up already!) Now it is just a little on the ridiculous side.

    Hello Diane,
We are working on streamlining the experience so you can access the site view directly from your My Accounts page. We are partnering with the My Accounts team to get this done and hope to have it updated soon. Thank you for the feedback.
    Thanks!

    Hello Rafael,
I spoke to the Managed WordPress team about this, and unfortunately with the way our free backups are stored makes making this change difficult at this time. However, we have a service called ManageWP that might be able to help with your back needs. We are also working on a premium backups feature that will be able to allow you to download your backup. Either of these options would allow you to download your backups.
I am happy to update you once the premium backups feature is available.
    Thanks!
    Tara

  10. Allow users to choose port and transfer protocol for Wordpress auto migration

Currently the Wordpress auto-migration seems to assume FTP is the transfer protocol. My current hosting company doesnt support FTP, only SFTP.

Currently the Wordpress auto-migration seems to assume the default port is used. My currrent hosting company forces me to use a non-default port.

Please allow selection of FTP or SFTP for transfer protocol and also allow selection of port used for import.

  11. no progress indicator when pushing staging-->production

It is still a voodoo guess when this process completes ("up to 2 minutes" is neither accurate nor very informative). Some kind of real-time indicator is needed, even if it is an easily-seen timestamp indicating the last time a push was started and completed.

  12. Add Details to Performance Section

You tell me to "Optimize your critical rendering path to reduce time to first render and allow users to see above-the-fold content ASAP" and you don't tell me how to do this. I'm not a techie and need help. Also, Page weight? What's good/bad and how do I make adjustments. Details are required in the Performance Section.

  13. Suggestions for Performance Updates

The Site Performance review is a handy tool and it would be even better if there were details about how to implement some of the "fixes" suggested. Many of us are novices and don't know what to do to fix the critical rendering path for example. I know that a low score is bad...now what?

  14. Use a 2-column layout

A 2-column layout allows more content to be viewable and therefore reduces scrolling. The boxes containing information for each Wordpress site can be made smaller to allow for a second column. See the current 2-column layout for an example.

    Hello Tonya,
Excellent question! We are currently working to get the number of visitors to the website displayed in the setting section of the site. However, this is not available yet.

There are a few plugins you can use to get this in the meantime. If you send me an email, I can give you a few suggestions.

    Thanks!
    Tara
