stabilize the platform
I get numerous alerts from our monitoring tools that sites are unavailable. We use a quorum approach with multiple monitoring locations, that require a quorum to report failure, and have generous slow response times. Due to this, when I receive an alert, I know that it isn't an issue with the network connection or load at a single monitoring location. It is usually only for a few minutes, but it makes it very difficult to convince a client that our hosting platform is stable, when they have their own monitoring tools that show their sites going "down" on a daily basis.
